Homeopathic Treatment ??

Wanted to know if anyone out there has tried homeopathic treatment for insulin resistance.

I have to say I know nothing at all about such treatments and would be very interested to learn if anyone has experience or knowledge of them.

Went to homeopath to find out what was going on with me and he picked up a few things, the worst of which was kidney and bladder infections, which we were working on to clear, and during this process of clearing the kidney infections, picked up the insulin resistance via blood tests and some of the symptoms that I was presenting with - excessive exhaustion being one that I was battling with tremendously. On the 45 minute drive to work I was having trouble staying awake - having to sleep at lunchtimes and generally no energy whatsoever, with a few other symptoms too.

A few years back, the doc put me on glucophase because she said that my insulin levels were dropping, although they were still there at that point. During that time I was seeing a couple of doctors for different issues and made the decision to go to a specialist physician to take control of my health and consolidate meds and treatments. I dropped the glucophase because the insulin levels were sufficient and medication was not necessary. At that point I did not even know about insulin resistance. Was just glad that I did not have a "sugar problem" as I thought.

I moved cities and of course doctors, and the new doctor that I was with never even looked at insulin levels even though I complained of tiredness. It was put down to stress - and it was a strong possibility because I was under tremendous family stress. Well I got fed up with the doctor and decided to go to a homeopath and that is how I landed up here.

I am going to try his medications and see if it does have a positive effect. Was hoping someone else out there would have been this path and had some advice.
