Has anyone seen "Diners, Drive-ins & Dives" on the food network? Lots of fun with some great ideas.
They did a restaurant in my town.
Supposedly famed for "Turdunken"
Nobody I knew had ever heard of the place and a few people tried it after seeing it on TV. It was horrible.
But the show is fun

They filmed an episode here not too long ago and I, along with others I know, were surprised (in a bad way) at their "diner, dive, and drive-in" choices. Not what I'd call truly representative of this city. Maybe the line-up changed since I'd heard about it, though..

I love that show. Yeah they did one of the Diners (The Village -- Richmond, VA) that I used to frequent when I was a student at VCU.
Good stuff.

Fun show! It used to be a favorite of mine.
I still like it very much, but I miss the days before D when I furiously write down some of the recipies and then try them out!

Yes! What a fun show it is! It's the wackiest way to review a restaurant that I've ever seen! Guy Fieri is terrific and a very talented chef. He is very active in his community and charity work from what I have read. They have also done a few restuarants in my area.
