another easy homemade lunch or dinner. I was 108 before and 120 at 2 hours. So I guess that qualifies as a success. Another meal where I stayed under 140.
For 2 people we sauteed 1/3 lb turkey sausage sliced into bite size . And we microwaved 2 egg whites with pepper on top in a glass custard cup. We toasted 2 pieces whole wheat bread and used Smart Balance spread. For salad we cut up a large roma tomato and half a cucumber. We also had delicious red grapes. And I ate 2 sf shortbread cookies - the ones that look like flowers.
We put everything on large dinner plates which looked full. So the visual was great, lots of food and lots of color. And of course it was all food we like. And I think that we covered everything, protein, veg, fruit, grain, hopefully good fat. And lower cholesterol and some fiber. Also had wyler's light sugar free pink lemonade in those individual packs to put in a bottled water. I thought it was good and the boxes are only a dollar at the drugstore.
