... thank you! I've been pumping for three weeks and have been keeping my Ping on my belt... and it was irritating the daylights out of me. At least once a day - usually when I get home from work, tired - I would drop my pants, forgetting my abdomen was attached to my belt. My first infusion site was so irritated from being tugged on I couldn't wait to switch sites.

The SPIBelt came in the mail today and it's been a godsend... and it's tiny... and it's cheap (for a pump accessory). Thanks again for the great idea.

That is so great!! I got the Forums notice in email with the subject and I thought someone was going to yell at me for recommending a specific product :)

I am so happy someone else loves them. Thanks for sharing.

Today, on the way to the gym, I tossed the little cap thing for the infusion site into the bag too. (I take the pump off at the gym). Everything in one place!

Thank you from me too! If wearing a pump on your belt or waist band has been an issue, a SpiBelt is definitely a great solution. It's also great when exercising, keeps the pump in place and doesn't bounce around. It also will hold my mini OneTouch, strips, lancet and some smarties just in case, if need be. (although its usually just smarties) Although I can get my Ping meter/remote in there with the pump, it makes it too heavy and will bounce when exercising. I think I'm going to get the one with double pockets. That will allow me to put the meter and supplies on one side and the pump on the other. Can't say enough about how great these things are! So much better than the "fanny packs".

Don't forget - type in "pump" in the offer box and get 10% off!

Geez, I think I need to check my BG, deleted a post because I thought it 20% off when I ordered my SpiBelt, but checked, it was 10%. And then when I delete the post I put the reason as "it was actually 20%" meaning 10%!!! <sigh> it's one of those days.

I'd never even thought about getting the double pocket belt and carrying my meter and strips in it... I'd really like to know how it works out if you plan to try it soon, that's another good idea.

I've simply taken to wearing cargo pants to work (thank god for relaxed dress codes) and carrying my meter/lancet device/strips in my cargo pockets. One of these days I'll be forced to go somewhere that doesn't allow cargo pants or backpacks (heaven forbid!) and I'd like to have a solution.

I took the two pocket one on an outing where we were gone all day. put meter, strips, GU in one pocket and the pump in the other. Made me think I wasn't a diabetic :)

I got an email offer for 10% off yesterday for the double pocket. I was actually thinking about just ordering the pocket that can put on any belt? Not sure which way to go. <sigh> ;)

I wore my Spibelt the other day , just had my pump in it . Forgot all about having the belt on, felt both of my pockets and thought that I had lost my pump,LOL, till I remembered that I had on the Spibelt. It is so light.

Do people wear these under their clothing and is it noticeable (well, more noticeable than on a belt)? I'm interested in getting one as it is sometimes a pain on the belt and I think it would be nice to be able to have it at the small of my back or side sometimes. Thanks.

I think it kind of depends on what you're wearing as to how noticeable it is. I don't think its any more noticeable than it being on a belt or waistband. Sometimes I'll wear it lower, like when wearing jeans. Sometimes I wear it higher on my waist. It's just more comfortable than having it clipped to the waistband. You can turn the pocket where ever you prefer.

Another thing I'm liking about it is how thin the pocket is. I have been doing some audio boluses, being able to just push the button from outside the pocket. I actually can see through the fabric too, (the Animas LCD screen is the BEST!) making it easy to respond to alarms and could probably bolus if I wanted to. The pocket is black, not sure if other colors would be as easy to see through? I can't say enough great things about the SPIbelt!

I always wear my pump on my belt on either side. The reason I picked up the SPIBelt (made in Austin!) is for exercising. The pump flops around too much in the pocket of my shorts. I put the SPIBelt under my shorts otherwise it rides up my abdomen. If I forget and jump in the car and sit down, the pump usually gets jammed into my back so be careful if you keep it back there when you sit down.

I got one to keep my meter and tabs in when exercising/hanging out at the theme park. I managed to get it when they had it for a week as a reward on Healthy Outcomes, and I must say that I love that thing. I didn't know they made dual pocket ones. That is interesting.
