Give them a call and ask for another replacement! Ask them about the new issue too. My understanding is that a refurbished pump "as new" is acceptable under the warranty. But the people to take it up with is medtronic.

You'll need to make your own mind up if it's ok or not, and take it up with them.

I thought you went back to MDIs. Pumps have a full warranty. Take advantage of it. Ever think that this is what is screwing with your readings?

My new 522 had a software issue at 6 months old. They replaced it with a refurbished one. That was 2 1/2 years ago and it is working fine. The refirbed ones are as good as new. I felt a little jilted when I got a refirbed one but they assured me it was good as new.

You can't get a new one while under warranty. According to their warranty contract all they will send you is a refurbished pump so you really have no say in that.
