high bp meds and felling tired

I have been back on my bp meds for almost a week. And I feel like a snail :slug: . I am tired and I ache. Please help me to get my energy back up. All I want to do is stay in the bed and that's getting old.

Have you been tested for anemia? If not, ask your doctor. You may be low in iron.
Vitamins B complex are known to increase energy.
Also try to walk in the morning get a partner to walk with u.
Some ginsengs also increase energy.

Hey, me too! I have been on mine for about 3 weeks and definitely feel more tired.

My one consolation is, my Endo who put me on them asked me at the appt if I felt tired from low(er)-carbing ... and I said NO -- so I actually KNOW it is not that, it is the MEDS.

I am giving them time and being patient, because my optho saw some evidence of hypertensive arterial stenosis -- so I KNOW I need them! As it is, the postural hypotensions (standing up and getting dizzy) have worn off, thankfully.
