1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 soup can of cream or milk
4 oz. cream cheese (velveeta, if you don't like cream cheese)
1/2 green bell pepper, diced
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 stick butter
6 large green bananas, sliced
Combine soup, milk, cheese, green pepper, onion and margarine in a saucepan and heat slowly until cheese is melted. (Microwave works well for this step)
Combine with banana slices in a large baking dish.
Bake 45 minutes at 350F until bubbly and top is golden brown.
(I had cooked the bananas earlier & kept them in the fridge, so it wasn't necessary to bake 45 min. Just enough to heat it up to bubbling.)
