Can Metformin cause hair loss?

I haven't been losing massive amounts of hair but some is still coming out. So could Metformin be the culprit?

Not sure....go to mayoclinic.com and look up met in the meds section. Should give you a list of things that can happen. But everyone is different.

I think it made my hair fall out some......can't be sure though

i don't know about met causing that, but if you take any kind of insulin, that can cause hair loss... i lost 2/3 of my hair within the first few years i was diagnosed... thankfully i had enough hair to be able to lose some...
