Hi Mark,
How inspiring that you are able to control with diet/exercize. I really admire people that are able to do so. I suffered from type 2 misdiagnosis and no amout of exercize and dieting was making any difference for me! I know what hard work it can be.

Wonderful! Do you have an endo there? I was thinking of switching to an endo in Allen! We only have one in Sherman and he is a bit grumy (and old). LOL:D

Cynthiazinn - There is a Dr. Jacobs in Allen (near Allen Presby hospital) who I've heard is good. But I actually go to an Endo in Plano. When I was diagnosed and called for an appt. the first available with Dr. Jacobs was 6 weeks out. I got into my Endo within a week and have enjoyed great support and great success. There are 3 Endos at the practice I use. I've seen 2 of them but my primary Endo is Dr. Lajara. She's wonderful!

Hey neighbor and welcome. Go to the forum and in the right hand column where it says meet and greet, recipes, Type 2 diabetes etc and click on there. The page changes to the forum again and if you look on the top left of the forum you will see a button that says NEW THREAD. Click on that and fire away. Looking forward to hearing from you.

Hey neighbor I'm from Crosby and used to live in Channelview. My boy plays in a band and sometimes does a few jams in Houston like the Engine Room down the road from the Toyota Center. I'm sorry but we consider anything north of Conroe Yankee Land. Pleased to meet you.
