Welcome, DonnaLynn.
I'm also a Type 2 - diagnosed in May 2009.

Quick question about your post...uncontrolled because you aren't controlling it, or uncontrolled because the D has gotten worse and has become almost impossible to control? A bit more info will help us assist you when/if you want that.

Let us know if you have any questions or comments...and, of course, please tell us how we might be able to assist you in controlling your diabetes.

You've found a good place for information, opinions, and quite a bit of inspiration. I look forward to reading more postings from you.

Thanks everyone for the welcome, I'm still trying to figure out this forum , not sure how to post and where to search for topics. i quess I have to set up a profile. well in do have type 2 but I can't get my levels low. they range from 180 to 380 even at times 420. Hopefully I can get support from this site. Donna

What's your diet like, Donna? Are you limiting your carbohydrate intake? If you're eating white bread, pasta, rice, potatoes, pizza, Chinese food, etc, these foods will cause a spike in your blood sugar.
