Im a 17 year old Male T1 Diabetic. Diagnosed about a month ago. From England. Currently on Injections and hoping to convince someone to get me on a pump ASAP. But with the NHS verging on collapse at any minute it could be a while!

Welcome lecsiy. I read the post you entered on the t1 forum.
This is a tough time as a newly diagnosed t1. Take is one day a a time. You will have some things happen and will hear and read even more things that will truly frighten.
Just don't over react to whatever is thrown your way. Try to sort it out. This will be your life . Make it a good one.
I have been t1 for over 31 years now and enjoy very good health. So do many others here with many more years of treating. With the advent of meters, pumps, improved insulins and other medications the road is much easier. No one misses the days gone past.
