Hello, my name is Starlitt Bobo I am a Type 1 diabetic. I also have 2 type 1 children. I am 32 yr old recent A1c 8 but thats down from 14 I'm very happy about that.

Why don't you tell us a little more about yourself, like how you manage your diabetes and how long you have been diabetic? We'd love to get to know you better. :)

I am type 1 IDDM I am currently trying to start insulin pump therapy. I currently take 4-6 insulin shots each day. I use lantus and humalog. My control is wonderful for the first time in 3 yr. I had been taking oral meds for years never feeling relief from any symptoms of high bs. Unfortunately I am overweight so dr. assumed I was type 2. Current A1c 6.1 I also have 2 type 1 children.
