BG goes up 20 points and I'm sweating?

Whenever my BG is going up rapidly to say, 120-140 I'm suddenly hot and sweaty. If it drops to 80-90 less rapidly, I'm sweating and having hot flashes.

I like my BG to be around 100-110. Does the above seem weird or what? Does this happen to anyone else?

I am about 20lbs overweight right now. Does this have anything to do with it?

I've read from others here on DF and can attest for myself, that it seems to be the rapid BG changes (up or down) that cause the most symptoms...

Kinda like the frog in the pot of boiling water... slow changes can be more readily accepted than quick ones.
