Back in June '09, my A1c was 9.7. After buckling down on my diet, lowering carb intake, I got my A1c down to 7.0 by September. My doctor made the decision to get me off Januvia and start Lantus. After the first 2 weeks, I was up to 15 Units per night.

Just got the call on my A1c today, I'm at 6.7. :D
