I hate needles and trying to do everything in my power to avoid a daily shot. My dad had to get them daily and his health seemed to decrease rapidly after starting insulin. He could never control his diabetes and suffered major symptoms as a result. I am doing everything in my power to avoid to learn from him and not go on the same path. I do everything to monitor my diabetes and to keep my diet in check and see how hard it actually is. By the way, do you all know that Metformin is on the Wal-Mart's $4 list in most states? I found this out by looking at Wal-mart's website and printed out the list. Sure enough Metformin is on it and I hope insulin will get their very soon or at the very least a generic equivalent. This would be good for almost every diabetic. I am sure this can save some of you a lot of money. I have been specializing in getting diabetics real health insurance benefits with no waiting period, (this is not one of those discount plans, I hate those pressure salespeople who try to trick us into thinking we are buying health insurance, when in fact we are buying from a stranger without a health insurance license trying to make more commission and not willing to really solve our problems. I am always looking for ways to save (diabetics) money. Is there anyone else out there who have tips on saving us diabetics money without spamming the forum? I don't want answers from people trying to lead us on a path to nowhere or to promote business. I just want to help every diabetic save money including myself and want good tips and money saving ideas. I was so happy to get health insurance for diabetics without having any waiting period for pre-existing conditions. This is the first real insurance I have found that offers benefits like this.
