From my personal experience which is all I have, I would say that after several years now of reasonably low carb in comparison with my former eating habits, my triglycerides on my last blood test and other heart ratio readings were the best in any test I have had done the past 10 years or more. My triglycerides had dropped way into the favorable range for the first time ever.

I don't get it - that IS the whole thing, isn't it? It's not an actual study.

Both of these are merely abstracts -- just wanted to indicate that it IS making the literature ... and also, for those who might have subscriber access (like in libraries other than mine), so they can read the whole article.
However, a metaanalysis is typically a review of existing literature, including some cross-study statistical analysis.
So how can we get to read the whole thing?
Frank you could request it via interlibrary loan at a medical library ... if you are lucky and willing to PAY. :(
MY med library does not provide our members with access to that online journal, nor do we have a print subscription. Dang it all.

I have requests sent for copies. If I get them, I'll have to message them or copy the text in.
