Just found out am db. Thanks for the information you all have been posting, makes it easier to deal with. I see i have to understand how to deal with my condition. Will be visiting the doctor to find out the type but think am type 2. Bg 1-2hrs after meal 176 Fbg 143. I really need all the help and advice i can get. Thanks a lot.

Relax it's not a death sentence. A little effort and you'll be under control and life will be pretty good.

I have not been to the doctor found out myself and got a meter. will be visiting to doctor soon. I am encouraged

Welcome to the forum Jnuonum, I have no doubt you'll get loads of help from fellow posters, they are some very knowledgeable people on here who will be more than pleased to answer all your need to know questions. But at the end of the day you are the leader of your diabetes care team, while his/her advice is learned, it's not absolute, you will end up knowing much more about your body and how it handling your diabetes, than your Doctor will. As art said "have you got a meter",this will proved to be your best weapon.
