BG Averages change

Old diet from diet experts average 134 over 10 days. Lots of highs and lows.

New diet my own, just eating from Mother Nature's Kitchen, Average 109 over 5 days.

How about that? I have never had these kinds of numbers. I just hope this isn't a fluke.

I've been slacking off like mad on the testing lately -- I've probably only tested 4 or 5 times over the last 3 or 4 days.

Numbers have been fine, and I've still been eating well, but I don't know how I think I'm going to keep track of my average testing like that. I need to stop slacking.

Hi Poppy - What are you using out of the natural pantry? If you've jettisoned highly processed, prepared foods in favor of lots of veggies, legumes, fruits, nuts and meats I'm certain your improvement is not a fluke. Good work!

Hi Jen, Yes, I eat only fruits (limited), lots of veggies (raw as much as possible, and lean meats. I stay away from nuts for now because the raise my BG but will work them in when I can. I feel so much better and well my BG is always perfect it is way better controlled and I am sure it is because of no processed foods. ;)

If your BG numbers are always good then you don't have to test so often, you are fine. Keep up the good work! :D
