Insulin

What do I do with my left over Insulin, pour it down the drain, or toilet. Putting it into the trash does not seem safe. Thanks

If there is any insulin left in cartridges (or vials when I was using them), here in the UK we were told to place them in our sharps boxes :)
As that way it is safely disposed of ;)
If you mean FULL spare insulin - return them to your pharmacist :D

I store my spent insulin pens in a secure container. When my community hosts a household hazardous waste disposal event I take the container and my used sharps and hand them over as medical waste.
