I had already purchased my treats for this year, when I was diagnosed, but happened to be cleaning out my pack-rat chest in preparation for the move in the spring, as I was passing out my treats this evening.

I am bad to buy things I don't need when they go on sale @ 90% off. Tonight as I going through the chest I found some party blowers that I had purchased after St. Patrick's Day,(to pass out to my nieces and nephews at a family dinner next year.... so I passed those out with the candy treats....The kids were more THRILLED with the blower than the candy... and I heard the horn part blowing all up and down the street as they tricker-treated. It was fun!

No more candy treats from me. I will catch little trinkets on sale, after each holiday and treat my little darlins' with those things. Thought I would pass it on, though you all may already do it.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I really like your idea! Can I steal it from you for next year? :)

That is an awesome idea! I wish we had those little trick or treaters here in my neighborhood! Unfortunately, we don't get any anymore. :(

Feel free! I'm pretty excited for nest year!

Something I did one year was to collect kitchen towels for all seasons and holidays, after they went on sale, and the next year gave them a complete set of towels and dish rag with a note that said something like: A kitchen towel for every season to make your kitchen chores a little more fun and pleasin'. The recipients really liked them! (Especially the new brides)
