Tony, Shy, TAutry, and Harold,
You will have to let me know, if this is a big NO NO or not.
I have four new viles of Novolog that I would like to send to someone who has to pay out of pocket for it. I get two bottles a month, and have 5 to 6 months left of Humolog that an angel sent me. I'm hoping for my transplant before that runs out. In the mean time, I have the Novolog which will go to waste if someone does not take it. They are brand new, in the boxes. I cannot give the expiration date. It must be on the viles themselves and I have not opened the boxes.
Hopefully somebody needs these.

Hi Liz,
As long as the Law in your state does not require a prescription, and if the Law does not require one in the state you send it to, it should be Okay. An alternative would be to call your local ADA or County Health Department and they should be able to give you contact information to any charitable groups that supply those in need.
Sounds like your pretty confident your going to get your transplant soon. Good Luck! :)

Thank you Harold, lgvincent, I will check out the local ADA, and see if they can put the Novolog to use. I am sure they can.
I appreciate the wishes for the transplant. I will let you all know as soon as I get the call.

Try the homeless shelters as well. They have diabetics there and can sometimes use it. Catholic charities is another and I use the Red Cross as well. A doctors office that caters to Medicare/Medicaid patients or low income patients too is a good option. Like Travis said check your state but also like you said you could be the "angel" in someones life :hypocrite

Very good point, Bel. I was also wondering if your area has a place that caters to Native Americans in need, Liz? If so, just wanted to add them to the ideas list.
