Hi there. I'm a 35 year old male from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. I'm 5'10" and tip the scales at 220 - 230lbs. I like to drink beer (12 at a sitting) and eat foods that are tasty like pizza and wings and pasta. I abused my body starting in my late teens and am really feeling the repercussions now.

I was recently diagnosed with type 2 after experiencing exhaustion, unquenchable thirst, thrush, blurry vision and dizziness. The blurry vision started around two years ago when I had an extreme traumatic event in my life.

I tested 17 at the doctor's office and he told me to watch my diet, get excersise and put me on 250mg (half tab) of Metformin at supper. I was always into not eating lunch and having a big supper, but am now eating three average meals a day.

I am down to around 8.5 average now after a month and am feeling better with more energy.

I have a lot of questions about my life from here on in and I'm very happy that I found this place. Looking forward to posting and learning here.
