Hi All
New here to the forum.
I'm a type 2, conrolled by medication.
Nice to find this forum for questions.
I use the woodworking forums all the time.
Can anyone direct me to other forums for diabetes? Always good to see what's

Hi Jeff, and welcome to the forums family! I'm not too keen on the other forums around, as I most frequently visit this one (and it's the most active), but maybe some others can help ya there...
Meanwhile, you'll find lots of friendly and helpful folks here! :) Just wanted to say "Hey," "welcome" and hope you'll visit and post often.

Hi Jeff,
I have been here since January and find this forum the best. I have been to others but this one has ranked #1. The topics are good and the people are friendly and they come with a lil sarcasim. What more can you ask for?

Welcome Jeff. I agree with Dewey, Barb and Camjen1, this is the busiest and friendliest forum you'll find. Wade on in when you're ready!
Nice to meet you,
HeatherP
Welcome Jeff, I too have found this forum to be great. I have not been here long but certainly feel at home. I am T2 for 12 years, and controlling with meds but I am sure it will soon be insulin.

Hi Jeff and Welcome aboard. This site does what I have not seen on other sites. We treat everyone the same (be they type 1, 1.5, 2). We treat everyone here with love and RESPECT. :D Stick around and you will see what I mean. Sure, we may joke around but that's all in fun. We are all a very caring, extended family here. We are here for the good and the bad times. How many other sites can say that !!!!!! :D

I had a look at other forums and this is the best on he Web that I found - very friendly and supportive people and no commercial bias or hidden agenda.
Your will find plenty of threads on the the Type 2 experience if you explore with the Search button.
Good luck.

Hey, and welcome to the forums... :D Good to have you!
In concern to your question about other forums... all i can say is look no further... this is the best and most active one that I think that you will come across, but you can still try googling for other forums and see what comes up.
Hope to see you around :)

Hi Jeff: Nice to meet ya. I do hope you enjoy this Forum as much
as we do. :) Usually 98%(close estimate) of questions asked here are answered with experience or by knowledge of other means(acquaintances, links, etc.). At the very least posts are commented on usually. You can't get that percentage anywhere else(except from your medical team). So post often, ask questions. Oh don't forget the archives of posts. :D

Hello and welcome Jeff! I'm also T2, and on medication. This place is wonderful. Lots of precious info, tips, advice... and lots of understanding. People here have a great sense of humour too!
But if you really insist on having another address well... : The Best (http://www.diabetesforums.com/)

Welcome Jeff to the friendliest forum I could find when I began the journey. Lots of experience, advice and explanation on offer to all who need and ask. An excellent alternative site Marie.
