in exercising, should your blood sugar go up right after exercise or down? I only take pills for mine

Thomas' bg always goes down, way down. He is still very sensitive. Even disconnecting his pump and eating a snack he will drop into the 50's if he exersices (bike, skateboard, running) for more than 20 min.

Mine almost always goes down. I think it has a lot to do with what your numbers are to begin with (prior to exercising). If they're in the high range, I believe there's the likelihood that they'll continue to rise under the stress of exercise. If they're within range prior to exercising, I think how you respond is individual.

For me, if I'm less than 200 when I start exercising, my bs go down, often dramatically. If my bs is over 200, I usually don't even try exercising because I've learned that my bs go up quickly and I usually feel very sick (headache, nausea, tired, achey...).

I'm sure this is probably something that varies from person to person and with different types of exercise. For instance, if I'm just lifting weights, my bs rarely goes down and often creeps up slowly  .
