Feeling like Blah...

Today I woke up w/ serious allergies, acting up. I couldnt stop sneezing and my body wasnt feeling right. Of course, right along come the Bsugar levels to follow. I was running high!! Finally down to 115 after lunch. Any advise you can give? :(

Don't really have any advice. The allergies are bad in our section right now (I'm in NC). Just keep an eye on those bg numbers. :D

Thank you for posting this.....last week my hayfever/allergies were horrid and I was running a little high and wondering if it was normal. Now I know it is :)

It seems that allergies and numerous other things can trigger high BGs. I think it is best to try to stay on top of it, as it sounds like you've been doing. Do you have to take Benadryl or any other meds to help with your allergies? If so, they may cause a fluctuation or increase in sugar levels. Hope this helps, and sorry I'm not more keen on it. i ACTUALLY TOOK tYLENOL coLD (pILLS), TESTED A FEW TIMES AFTER AND MY bs ARE IN THE 120-115 RANGE. jUST FEEL THE DROWSINESS FORM THE ACTUAL MEDICATION.

My mom was in the Keys from Easter through Mother's Day...she said her allergies while there were 100x's worse than even at her home(in Sarasota)...

Allergies are horrid here right now as well...

During specific times of the year my allergies flare up too. My doctor gave me allegra and flonase to take. It does cause a rise in BS but he told me when I took them to test more often and do a correction bolus as needed. It seems to work for me....good luck...
