automatic rebound

Why is it that ,in the morning, by 11am my BG is down to 4.5 yet if I don't eat anything by 11:30 I am back to 5.5. Yet in the evening if I am down to 4's in the late afternoon and I don't eat then they just keep dropping?

Still trying to understand.

What time and what kind of meds did you take? I believe you are "laid-up" so you are not exercising, right?

Sorry I shoould have included that info.
I take metformin 500mg 4 times daily, once each meal and once before bed.

Not laid up any so slowly getting more active.
