I had him on the floor and my foot stomped on his back. All I could see was the back of his head bobbling and attempting to talk back to me, I simply said "Put me on a pump and I will let you go!"

No just kidding, But I did get to see him today. This is what really happened. I went in with everything well prepared, my blood sugar readings, my blood work from my PCP, my PUMP booklet (Cozmo), and a urge to attack him! (LOL) After he reviewed it all he said , shall I ask "Would you consider a pump?" I smirked as he glanced at my Cozmo booklet in my hand. I simply said "All I need is a letter from you!" So he did it right away. WOWERS!!!
He is having his pump nurse contact me ASAP for pump education and all the insurance runaround. He gave me a copy of the infamous letter needed by my insurance to process my "Medical Necessity". I asked about my eyesight and he found it really weird and didn't say much. He wants to keep my on the R & N regime till I get the pump. No change in diet, exercixe, or anything else. Could this be that the pump will be here sooner than I epected?

Excellent, Cinnabon!!

Now, in order to run one all you have to do is pass the courses in Quantum Physics, Nonlinear Stochastic Differential Equasions, and Chaos Theory and Fractals---with a sid eorder of Julia Set Fractals.

Is it really that bad or that hard to learn?

Going thru the process of getting the pump is more of a headache then learning how to use it. ;)

Thank goodness... I have been a lil worried about that.
I just noticed on my Endo's :1eye: referral (IDIOT) he put me down as a T2 for 22 years, Im 30 now. Is that even possible, I mean obviously it was an error on his part and I contacted his office right away after reading it, has to leave a message, they were gone. Im thinking maybe the insurance co. has common sense 2 put the facts together (hoping).

I would probably make it noticed as you don't want ANYTHING to hold the process up.

that's great Cinna,
pumps are fairly easy to use and what we did 20 years ago to take care of our diabetes was actually more difficult than using a pump now, so don't worry.

The key is to stay vigilant and pay attention to what is happening to you, until you get used to the pump. As with any regimen, it takes a little getting used to.

Hi Cinnabon,

Great news! And great post, loved the part about having the endo pinned on the floor, lol. Glad you finally tracked your endo down and even gladder that you are begining the process to get the pump. Good luck. Keep us posted.
