are glucagon kits available in Canada?

Are glucagon kits available in Canada and if so under what name. I was talking to another diabetic and they've never heard of them so it got me wondering if they're just available in the states. If anyone knows, I'd appreciate some info. Thanks :confused:

Yes, they are available in Canada. They're called Glucagon Emergency Kits.

Yes they should be available at most drug stores, ask your doctor for a prescription next time you see him/her. The kit (includes a syringe and a small vial) is good for 1 use and cost around 100$ (before insurance) last time i bought one.
