I have my original mini med 507C pump as well as a new cozmo pump, I was wondering what people do with the old pumps that still work well. My 507 C was reconditioned a year ago, but I know I am not likely to ever use it again and if it were put to good use would donate it.

Anyone know of a use for an older pump that still works fine.

There are people here who "want" a pump and either cannot afford one or have to jump through too many hoops to get one...I dunno if we're allowed to advertise our pumps, though.

How did you "recondition" your pump?

You might also what to try your local JDRF for kids who need/want pump that can't afford them. I know our local JDRF takes them, has them reconditions and them gives them to families who can't afford pumps and who's condition would be greatly imporved by a pump.... It's a nice tax deduction too...

Just a thought.

To get a pump re-conditioned you sent it back to the manufacture and for a few 100 dollars they re-condition it.

Thanks for the info. I will contact the JDRF

Dear All,

I would be very much appreciative if someone can tell me if there is anyway to look for organizations who send donated reconditioned pumps to none US Citizens living ourside the USA or better if anyone here would directly donate his reconditioned pump so that my son can make use it

Regards

Carina
