The last two sets that I've changed, there has been considerable brusing around the cannula area. The first site (upper thigh) I changed because the bruise got so big I could see it through the tape on the quickset. On the other site (lower abdomen), the bruising was smaller, about 1/4 inch diameter, so I didn't see it until I changes set. Each time, there was no change in my bs. The sites were a bit tender, but not to the point that it was uncomfortable and I was constantly aware of it.
I don't think I'm doing anything different than I have before, but two sites over the last 4 days has got me a bit concerned. Any ideas?? Or should I just chalk it up to coincidence and see what happens with my next set change?
