I was wondering if there is a correlation between low blood sugar levels and the release of methane from the derriere…also known as….farting.
I won’t name any names, but one particular diabetic in my life has been diagnosed by myself, Dr. Diana, as having Chronic Fartsgaloritis, sometimes referred to as Rectum Dysfunction. :nerd: My “patient” claims that his bursts of methane release are caused by low blood sugars. I am wondering if there is any merit to this absurd claim. If there is not any evidence to back this theory, my fartfurter patient will be punished by being spanked with a wet noodle.

No, not to my knowledge. However, many of our medications do indeed cause the cheeks to part a bit.... :whistling
Sorbitol...Not to be used to corrects lows. Actually, should never be used at all, especially if planning to attend a social function soon or if you will not be near a toilet...
Hey Adam, isn't it cool having your GF on the forum with ya?

Just as I feared. He is just a *pfft* maniac and wants to blame it on his diabetes so that he can get away with his perpetual outbursts.
Interesting to me that he wasn't plagued by Fartsgaloritis when we first met....hmmm. veeeeeery interesting.

Well Duck, now you've done it. I was being so discreet so as not embarrass Adam!! ;)
I never said it was Adam...I was merely asking a question about whether or not he thought it was cool having his GF on the forum with him...Or is that GFOD, in the same vain as WOD and HOD?

You don't say what medication he is on. If he is on Metformin then this is definitely the culprit. The amount and smell of the gas depends on what one eats and when.

That is hilarious. This mystery person is on Humalog. As for the amount and smell of gas.....I'm surprised you people in Canada and the UK haven't passed out yet!!
I'm just kidding babe!!! I think for our next date he is going to take me to the slaughterhouse. It's been nice knowing all of you, I will miss you all terribly and hope to see you in another life (the slow drone of a single trumpet playing Taps is heard in the background).... :(

If he takes you anywhere, he better bring ya back. If not, I may just have to leave my quiet NC life, head to Georgia to get Meech, meet up with Duck and Dewey somewhere and come after him. Talk about a butt kicking!!! That boy won't know what hit him after we finish. LOL. J/K Adam. You both know we luv you guys !!! :D
Well, I tried the "low blood sugar" excuse last night, and it didn't fly. My WOD claims that I have the same problem when I am normal and high. I told her we could research, and she says that she will pass on the research...

What is it with you men? How is it that women don't NEEEEED to do that but men do?? Adam's reasoning is this, "But Babe, there is just so much more ROOM out here than there is in there!" How come women get along just fine? How come in the initial stages of a relationship you men get along just fine? Is it just funny to yall? Do yall enjoy it?? I don't get it.

Here's another, "If I hold it in I'll burst! Don't you LOVE me? You don't want me to burst do you?"

You guys might think i'm crazy, but it does happen. If I'm on a roll, I mean a major roll, and check my sugars, it's almost always below 70. Maybe it's because some of us experience nausea when we go low.

See what I mean? He really thinks his "excuse" is a valid argument....
