I'm REALLY trying to work on lowering my sugar levels - this is resulting in me having more hypos than I used to.
Plus the fact that I've been doing housework like a demon today (!) I've had 3 hypos! :(
How often do you go hypo?

I usually have a hypo once a day...usually after exercise. Exercise really makes my blood sugar take a plunge  . I try to cut my basal rates and even eat a small snack before hand, but it usually doesn't help much. Actually, my CDE recommended that I cut my rate by 75% during exercise. Well, I did that Thursday and came home with a bs of 210! and then after dinner, it was 400! So that didn't work either...but sometimes these things take time to figure out.
In your case, being extra active- cleaning and that sort of thing- can have the same effect so test more frequently and be wary of symptoms.
Take care ;)

If Thomas is out with his friends (swimming, riding bikes, etc..) he tends to run low a lot. He takes his pump off and still comes in for sugar tabs or juice.
So sometimes several times a day.

For me usually the after breakfast time and before lunch, is crucial. It has diminished a lot to about once a day. Eating a bit off of the "scheduled" times for meals causes a hypo too, BLAH!!! (LOL).

At the moment I don't seem to hardly ever go low, but thats because I'm having trouble keeping my bg below 9mmol/l most of the time. Yesterday and last night My bg was constantly 5 or 6 though like it used to be, so hopefully I can keep it that way. But it's so stupidly hot I might just pass out for the day anyway if i'm not careful :p
When My bg is normal, I tend to go low every few days or every couple of days, but not a major low.

I go hypo too often :p Summer heat is playing with my D... this is my first summer with D so i haven't yet figured out how much i need to lower my insulin. Even the pump gave me 1-3 hypos/day. I'm now back onto injections, and still working on how much lantus or levemir i need. But seems like i'm on the right way now. haven't had a hypo since friday  and this weekend has been really warm. Easily 20-25 degrees!
