I am in search of a good pump trainer/ educator . I have called Minimed directly and they have not been much help. I have called a few hospitals as well, any ideas?? (What a pump struggle...lol)

Call your endo as they should know someone. Thats how I found mine here in Dallas.

Did some searching, and the only info I found on Miami, FL, CDE's directed me toward The Diabetes Care Center at Baptist Hospital of Miami, and The Diabetes Care Center at South Miami Hospital. Hope this helps.

Yes, thank you Zoo.
I have contacted them and they are very nice and professional people. They did tell me I would need a referral so I called my insurance on that as well. I have received so many calls today from that disaster of an RN service appointed to me for my pump. I think now they fear of legal actions I can take.. Hmmmmm, things that make you go HMMMMMMM!lol

Try Find a Diabetes Educator (http://members.aadenet.org/scriptcontent/map.cfm) and look to see if they have a CDE after their name.
