what do you guys take for a head cold? Everything out there seems to have lots of sugar in it. Is there anything medicinal or holistic/herbal that we can take? This is my first head cold in a long time and it's a doozy! Bad enough that we go on family vacation next week. I'd like to have it gone by then. Thanks :nurse:

Lemsip tablet should do the trick. Or Beechams. Basically any cold remedy that comes in tablet form should be fine. Even the Lemsip drinks aren't too high in sugar anyway.

I usually take Allegra or Allegra D for colds because where I live it is probablyl a seasonal allergy. It seems to work for me.

what about just extra Vit C...when i'm not feeling well, i will take Vit C
(1000 mg) two or three times a day..

i'm really concerned about drying up my sinuses too much...leads to
sinus infections...so i stay away from head cold 'remedies'...

and is it a headcold or allergies?
can you determine the difference?

:dontknow:

at any rate, get well quick.
