hey Im a little curious on the insulin pump issue.....i would like to try this, heard it has worked wonders, but no nothing about it, except its called an insulin pump...any info would definatly help....how do they do the procedure? Does it hurt? How does it work? I have no insurance so how much does it cost? I'm fool :stupido2: of questions on this topic....I guess I need the whole nine yarded information :dontknow:

go to pumping insulin in the forums. They are small like a beeper and the procedure you refered to is one you do yourself...doesn't hurt. It is almost like inserting an IV but you don't get a blood vein.

It is like taking a shot and a few other small thing that go attached to it. you only do this 1 time every 3 days. It has so many advantages its amazing.. If you "google it" you will find a lot of info. Im on a Minimed 715.

One site that I have found helpful in my research is www.diabetesnet.com. Scroll over technology and insulin pumps. That should help you. :D
