Anyone have the recipe *sp?* for american pancakes? Preferably with the L/dl/cl etc measurements (i have no idea about "a cup of..." or anything like that)
I just can't find it in ANY of my cooking books :bawling: Can only find thin pancakes, Crépes and things like that *sigh*

Aunt Jemima makes my pancakes. Sorry I couldn't help. I'm not good with all the flour stuff. :)

I mainly do the instant thing, too. Common brands that can be used to make them in the U.S.:
Aunt Jemima
Hungry Jack
Bisquick
This site has several pancake recipes, but they are in American measuring units. You could convert using any "Metric Converter" web site if you wish:

Good luck!

Yeah, we use the Bisquick dry mix; just add water and cook. The mix also works great when making waffles.

This recipe is so user friendly...it works well adding other ingredients ie., oatmeal, raisins, diced apples, and nuts. I usually add more milk to thin out some ---the pancakes by the recipe are thick but wonderful. They also freeze well if you double the batch and if there are any left!
