Oooopsss!!

I'm losing my mind these days. Juggling a gazillion things, helping neighbors, playing village doctor, etc. etc..

I THINK I took a double dose of Glucophage (850 two times!!) this morning.

Is this going to hurt me? I did eat a hi-carbo breakfast, thinking it was 'healthy'...it was gluten-free musli and bran flakes...with skim milk. first time i've eaten that in months...have no idea what the b/g level will do...

holy moly...guess i'll test and wait and see.
what if my b/g levels crash...i need to go into town now so i guess i'll take a piece of fruit to revive myself, right?

Just check often and if it starts dropping treat it then. Since your unsure if you took it or not.

This happens to everyone, even T1s..LOL
All we can do is test, test, test and be prepared to treat it. I would have taken something more than a piece of fruit. Let us know how it went.....

It happened to me on a few occasions. Couldn't remember at all if I had taken my meds or not. Now I use this little box, with days of the week and times of the day on it. Wonderful! Even put my vitamins and supplements in there. That way I make sure I take everything I am supposed to, and at the right time.

I use a box like that for my 11 tablets a day.

I now just need something to remind me to look at the box :secruity:
