humalin u & L discontinued

I don't know if anyone takes u or l but i saw yesterday that these two will no longer be produced. I guess lantus and others have hurt the sale of these two kinds. so in case anyone still takes these kinds they will be gone soon.

Hey Christie: Ya I've known about that since Jan. or Feb., someone mentioned it and I checked their Lilly Website. My Pharmacist phoned to tell me for sure about a month ago. Since it works well for me I will be purchasing it more often by cash $19.47 and by my Hubbies work, $2.00. I
can only get one a month by my Hubbies work though. One bottle usually(10 ml), usually lasts me 1 1/2 mths. We don't need a prescription here for insulin so my Pharmacist and I will be trying to get the furtherer away exp. dates. It will be discontinued here end of December. Really Sucks. But that's progress eh, less efficient more expensive for the people who don't have coverage. :( That's Life.
