Sweating with HIGH bg levels?

Does anyone else have problems where they get "the sweats" when their bg levels are elevated? I'm talking dripping wet sweats here. Before the dr. hogtied me and put me on meds, I had this happen fairly often. Now that I'm stabilized it only happens occasionally. (To be honest, I originally put it down to "hot flashes", but I'm not HOT when it happens).

I didn't get sweats when not hot, but what I did have was zero heat tolerance - the water would just literally poor off me in streams.

This largely disappeared when my sugar levels got down to normal levels. I put this down to the viscosity of the blood reducing with less sugar in it since my blood pressure control also got much, much better.

I hadn't even thought about it....but I've spent most of the summer hiding from the heat and now it doesn't bother me -- I'll bet it's because my numbers are down! Before I would be in a sweat the minute I opened the door....

I actually get the sweats when my bs is high, however it wasn't always so only in the last 3 to 4 months that I noticed it more readily.
