You has used th quick set? Do you like them?

And how is the tape on it compared to soft set. Do they stick better. Does it hurt when you pull the tape off. I don't like tape that hurts when you pull them off.

I have to place an order real soon.

i tried one and loved them i in fact ordered them this time. i think that i read you have a mm pump? if so call the co they will send you out trials free like two of what ever you want to try and they come in about three days you might think about tring them your self. i cant answer about if they hurt as yet none of my sets have hurt on removal just itch a sligh bit it seemed to stick as wellas ths soft set did/ does. if you try them please post you opion i am hoping they work well for summer as i swim nearly every day. they also do not have the tail so are more areodynamic while on.

I just switched to the quicksets after using the softsets for over a year. I called MM and got a couple of samples (without the serter). They go in straight like the softset but the needles smaller than the softsets needle, You can insert without the serter, but theres one available if you want one. Using the serters tricky until you get used to it. You disconnect by twisting at the site, and it doesnt leave a tail. The set "button" is a bit larger than softset's button. The tape sticks well, you usually dont need to add more. The tapes about the size of a silver dollar. It comes off easy when you want it too, since there isnt a lot of tape.

I just I got off the phone with mm. The guy said i could get two samples, but have to pay for the tool.($50.00). Or I could buy one box and get the tool free.

I went with the one box deal.

He said the only thing that was different,(soft, quick sets) was the tubbing legnth.

I have switched over to the quick sets and have been very happy with them. There is not much tape involved and they really are painless-- I use the 6mm ones and do not feel a thing. They stick well I've found, though I changed my site every 2-3 days anyhow. When I got samples they sent me a quickserter with it and I do not believe I was billed though??

i have been using the silhouette since they came out. before that i had a choice between the sofset and the bent needle.
the silhouette is like a combination between them, i have no problem with them sticking nor taking them off. they do have a inserter for them now but i have never used it.

I am starting pump therapy on March 13th. I have samples of all the types of needles and inserters. I would love to hear from everyone to see which is the overall best one they perfer and why. My md perfers the silhouette, she says it clogs the least. Love to hear other opinions.

I use the soft-serter. I like it and have used the silhouette but I like the soft-serter better for myself.
It seems to do better in water and I like the big bandaide.
The insertion seemed the same to me.
