Any one else have these syptoms and are they because im diabetic now?Half the time i feel like crying cause my feet hurt badly,iv changed shoes and sneakers all the time and it doesnt help much,by time like 3 oclock comes around i feel like it is nap time, and my sugar range is from 80-110 so i dont quite understand all this.So any help would be deeply appreciated.Plus alot of times i dont feel well for no apparent reason, this is so frustrating.

you say your sugars are 80 - 110 around 3, but how are they the rest of the day. If you sugars are up & down, up & down, up & down, you will feel miserable. Trust me, I've been there.
For the fatigue around 3, I would assume it's your sugars coming down fast or going up fast, that's when I notice it but it could be something completely different. Try testing at noon and then every hour after that on the hour and see if you notice a drop or rise in blood sugars.

Problems with diabetics and their feet usually revolve around poor circulation, nerve damage, and cuts and bruises not healing. If your feet are not numb anywhere, are not super cold and off color, and you don't have any bruises or cuts that wont heal IMO it probably isnt diabetic related. You might want to see a podiatrist as he/she could probably pin point the reason for your pain.
By 3 o'clock I feel like I need a nap too! :) Lots of people, diabetic or not, feel like this. The fact that your BG is so well too is great. I am not saying its a normal thing but its not rare. Are you on any meds that could make you tired? How long have you felt this way?
Worrying about stuff like this would make anyone not feel well. Do you have a good doctor? It took me 3 tries to find a dr I like and felt was knowledgable enough to treat me.

My suggestion...see your doctor as soon as you can. I truly believe that if you sense something is wrong then most likely there is (not trying to scare you). I think you may be able to attribute some of what you are experiencing to your diabetes, but if your numbers are as good as you have said, I don't see how that could be the problem.
Hope you feel better soon!

How old are you Van? I feel this way much of the time. Some of it due to Diabetes, some just to getting old (er)! Just a few years ago, I could go for 16 hours, and get much done, drop in bed and go right to sleep. Now I stuggle to do anything, need a nap everyday, but cannot sleep at night. I talked to the doctor about it, and he said "Of course you am tired all the time, your body is fighting a lot of battles!" But he didn't offer any help to change it. I have found two thing that help my feet, soaking them in hot water, and having someone rub them for me. The first one is easy! :help:

It's a lot easier finding someone wanting YOU to rub their feet than wanting to rub YOUR feet :)
Van, is there any chance of you having sleep apnea? That is where my 'medical journey' started. I had alot of sleep issues, found out I had sleep apnea, then 6 months down the road found out I also have type 2 diabetes. Best of luck. Hope you are feeling better soon!

Hey Van: I've said this before but it doesn't hurt to repeat occasionally.
Anyone who is feeling bad and can't associate it with anything else, have
any tendon, muscle or joint pain(including feet), extreme fatigue, depression
that is new, occasional, low-grade fever, or have any relatives who have Rheumatoid Arthritis should have their Family Physician or Endo refer them
to a Rheumatologist for testing asap. This Arthritis comes in mild, moderate and severe. I have severe. This is another bad autoimmune disease like Diabetes. Many Diabetics get it. It can hit at any age, I got the first signs at age 23/24. I sure never felt such severe pain, fatigue and depression. It sure woouldn't hurt anyone with symptoms to get tested and rule it out or be
dxd. because it has to be treated agressively as soon as possible before it destroys joints. Hopefully, this is not your case. Take Care and I hope you
will feel better soon. :marchmell

Sorry you lost your job.:frown:
Now about the tiredness. Have you had your thyroid levels checked? I started feeling tired in the afternoons. No energy at all. My doc tested my thyroid levels and sure enough that was the problem. I have hypothyroidism that is controlled by medication and I am feeling much better now. Talk to a doc about having yours checked.

Hey, I know it seems like right now your life sucks, but things have a way of turning around. From what you said, your blood sugar sounds like it's under good control and that's definitely important a good thing.
As far as the foot pain, try to rest them as much as possible. Also, soaking in warm water and taking an Advil or two for pain, might help. Hopefully, when you see the doctor, he'll have more suggestions for you too.
I'm sorry to hear you lost your job, and that's got to be tough news to take, but I'm sure something else will come up and, in the long run, the fact that this one didn't work out, won't matter so much.
Hang in there!
