Hi all,
I have been having pain feelings for over 5 weeks now, it's hard to figure out if it originates from a central point or ??? It feels sorta like pinches in the groin area, (rt usually), legs, stomach, intestines, breasts, occasionally but not as bothersome in the arms. It like fleets around but I ususally feel loss of appetite and somewhat acidic stomache feeling, feels like gas pains and oh yes, back pain lower and middle area. At first I thought my liver was shot, then thought my kidneys were shot. But I'm still here with it. My doctor just shrugged and then asked me if the pain was upper stomache? I said yes because it does sometimes. I had an upper GI xray last thursday, no result on that yet. After this probably vague description, anyone think its nerve damage? How much of this could be psychosomatic (in the mind from stress?) Diabetes diagnosis has worried that so much damage has been done but I don't have much discussion with Doctor about it. I have cut out metformin, effexor, lantus and am now testing and using Novolog as needed.
I'm just wondering if others experience pain other than the "foot pain" that is so discussed by medical community. (yes, my feet kill after being on them a while, and I also have a lot of knee pain). forgot that. I must sound like a hypochrondiac???:embarasse
