Hi again...

I actually went to my GP last week, and after being told I have an ear infection and the one tube in my ear (station tube?) doesn't close, he asks me about the dizziness(figuring it's from the lovely ear infection, which, honestly, I was just hoping it was my wisdom teeth giving me the pain so they could come out)...anyway, I explained it to him, he asked about Eri, and if I have ever checked my BG. Well, yeah, I have, of course...especially when I am shaking like a leaf and can't get enough food into me quick enough and dizzy...so he asks the lowest I had ever been...39...and he tells me I need to have my pancreas checked b/c there could be some tumor or something? He asked how long I've had these "episodes" and I told him for the past 7/8 yrs(b/f Eri was even dx'd)...and that I was always borderline gestational diabetic. So, he then said it probably isn't a tumor, but I need to go for some sort of pancreas testing.
Anybody know what kind of testing that is? I didn't get to ask him b/c it was such a quick visit and he was writing out my scripts(put me on regelan as well)...and everything was just a whirlwind.

Sooooooo....that's my question for now. Hopefully he just means some type of bloodwork...or an easy u/s or something.
Always something interesting going on here...
Anyhow, thanks in advance for any info :)

Hi Robin
I don't know what kind of test they would do. Hopefully it is just blood work. When I was having a lot of low bg. my doctor just told me to eat something small about every 2 hours. Unless I am really stressed or too busy to eat I haven't had that low feeling.
Good luck.
Keep us posted.
