Yum, sunflower seeds, I forgot how much I like them. I think they only have 3 to 5 carbs for an ounce ( I did not learn the metric system very well, way back when:stupido: ) but an ounce is quite a bit of them. When I eat nuts of any kind, my levels run low, so I would think sunflower or pumpkin would do the same. It's 5:30 in the morning, I am hungry, and would really like to have some right now!:(

Pumpkin and sunflower have matched carb for fibre so they cancel each other out. I eat sunflower seeds all the time for when I get the munchies. I make sure they are in the shell though so I don't go through so many. You do have to watch the fat though.

YucK!!

GroSS!!

What kind of strange person would want pumpkins and sunflowers growing in their stomach?

(A long, long time ago, in a place far, far away, most of the people I coached with ate either or both. Never liked them much. But IF you like them, go for it, they are good for you)
