Ive been going threw some hard swimming workouts during the day for my highschool team, and I've been waking up, and when I check them its been around 54.
Is there anything I should be doing? Perhaps lowering my Lantus dosage?
Thanks in advance.

I would lower your lantus dose 1 unit and see what that does. Check throughout the day to make sure that it's not causing you to run high at any points in the day though.

You might also want to have a snack before going to bed. Swimming is the most intensive exercise you can do, given that it works pretty much all your muscles. It means that they're using up glucose at a much higher rate for a long time afterwards to recover. So definitely drop your Lantus dose - you might also want to consider reducing your bolus doses too since they'll also have knock-on effects.
Basically treat your body after it's been swimming as being much more sensitive to insulin. If you inject according to ratios, then you'll need to draw up some new ones for the days you swim.
