my family cares but no-one has really learned what they need to do to help my get my blood sugar under control. but they all want to tell me what not to eat.

It is good that you are helping your sister like this by looking for information.:thumbsup:
From my experience;
All I can say is only help her when she needs it. Do not tell her what she should and should not eat or drink.:eating:
