Newbie here...but not to diabetes

I am new here...found you through a recipe that was posted on my yahoo diabetes recipe group... glad to be here...

I am home all of the time now due to multiple health problems... I am in the process of applying for SSI, Disability, etc...

I love to cook, and have been using my sewing skills to sew for others out of necessity... need to stop due to dimishing stamina...

welcome, you've come to the right place for support in controling your blood sugar.

since i've joined the board i have a new outlook on my life, and i feel like i can do this. i'm taking my med again, losing weight, checking my BS four times a day and eating right. i haven't been out walking yet but i have it in my plans. and my hope came from reading the post and seeing what other people, who are in the same boat, are doing to gain back control of thier health.

read as much as you can on the board and post all your questions.
