I always have my Glucose meter in my right pocket, and glucose tablets in my right pocket.
In my briefcase I have 2 more meters (yes 2,) a can of Coke, glucose tabs and gel-glucose.
My insulin is also in my briefcase.
Is this about the same as everyone else?

I carry my freestlye flash, extra vial of test strips, an infusion set and reservoir, 3 AAA batteries, an IV prep pad, my quick-serter, and a vial of insulin all in my purse (and people wonder why I need a larger purse....). Glucose tablets are in my car's glove box. I have always kept all my supplies in my purse, and then just carried my purse around like it was a growth on my shoulder....lol Now, I have this strange attachment to my purse......I'm strange.....:dontknow:

I carry my pump on my hip and then in my cargo pocket (or jacket if at work) I carry my One Touch ULtra meter with strips, cotton balls, lancet, and glucose tabs in it. In my car I keep a few needles, some spare infusion sets, and spare insulin cartridges all within my advanced medical pack from Galls.com. I keep at work 1 bottle of insulin. I figure anything else I'm within a 1 hour drive of home for and can get there or just buy at a local store.

Good for you!! :dontknow: Why is it that so many of us put off getting that "medic Alert bracelet. Maybe I'll ask my hubby to get me one for Valentine's Day. Or maybe I'll just get myself one. Noone would ever know without rifeling through my purse that I am diabetic and they'd have to guess. So they'll pump me full of sugar water before they know I don't want any. :listen: I will do it tomarrow--order one!!

I carry my meter with about 5-10 strips; my meter case also holds my humalog pen, 5-6 needles and a couple lancets. I also carry my lantus pen that has its own case.
I also carry a horrible emergency cherry-flavoured glucose syrup thing that I have been toting around for about five years and don't think I would ever use. I guess it is better than carrying candy, which I can see myself eating when I don't need it. The thought of eating that cherry stuff makes me find a vending machine to get some juice.
If I am going hiking or to the gym, I make sure I have juice to pick me up if I need it. I also keep extra supplies in my earthquake kit and in my office, just in case.

Ultrasmart meter/case in jacket pocket (incl strips and lancet)
Novopen in pants pocket with 2 fresh needles a day
Pen needles in mine and wifes trucks and in drawer at work
Can of Mt. Dew in both vehicles at all times.
At least $2.00 at all times in case I have a hypo elsewhere and need a boost.
Might go back to an ultra meter as the ultrasmart is a little bulky. I liked the smaller case of the ultra.
