I just chaned my infusion set and I feel pain in the area where I inserted it. i inserted it in the thigh towards the outer part. It feels like I hit a nerve or something. Does anybody know what this means ? Did i damage the canula or something ? When I move leg I feel something pinching with an annoying pain.

Most likely you have got it to sit on a nerve. I've been pumping for 3 years now and have had that happen numerous times where it will feel awkward. Remember, it's a pretty touch plastic canula in you, tough so that it doesn't bend under regular pressure, and sometimes if it hits the wrong spot, it can cause slight discomfort. You can either try to live with it for 3 days or take it out and try again. It all depends on how much you think it bothers you.

If it hurts for more than a moment, PULL IT OUT! Start over with a new set.
Like the Jedi, I tend to try and put up with it, and most of the time I have been able to wait three days. But spike gives the correct advice.

I got a no delivery so I decided to change to a new set. I was surprised to see the canula was not bent, so I wonder what caused the no delivery. Another thing when I remove an old infusion set it just wont stop bleeding.
Sometimes I get so fed up with diabetes ....

It sounds like you didn't hit a nerve but a vein. That would explain the slight pain you had and yes, it will bleed for quite a while. Just keep cotton balls with a good amoung of pressure on then on it and it will eventually stop.
