I always use the front of the thigh, can you use the side of the thigh or the outer thigh ? I tried this and hit something and got a no delivery. Does there have to be meat there or must you be able to pinch some skin ?

The theory I was always taught was "Pinch an Inch." By that I mean you should be able to pinch your skin enough to the point where your fingers are about an inch apart and don't move. If they start sliding towards each other while pinching, then you don't have enough fat there.

Legs can be one of the most difficult places, especially if you hit a muscle (it can hurt like you know what.) I always use the abdomen so far and haven't had a problem. Only once I've hit a vein, a few times I've had some pain, but it was mild enough that I could wear the set for at least 2 days before changing it.

The outer thigh is one of the usual rotation spots I use. By outer, I mean between my outseam and the middle of the front of my thigh.

You probably hit muscle and kinked your set. Which sets do you use? I found that the 9mm Quicksets are too long to use in my thigh. You could try either the 6mm or angled sets like the Comfort or Silhouette.
